American Cargoservice, Inc. has a full-time position available for an Operations Agent. This is an excellent opportunity for candidate with some air or ocean freight experience to join our small office and contribute to a complex multifaceted logistics environment.

Responsibilities include

  • Organize shipments by air, sea, and road
  • Communicate effectively with customers, carriers and agents worldwide
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good math and geography skills
  • The ability to learn quickly and work efficiently.
  • Experience in one or more of the following preferred:
    • Air Freight
    • Ocean Freight
    • Trucking
    • Dangerous Goods Regulations
    • Export Regulations
    • Import Regulations
